Upper Tract, West Virginia, Resident Sentenced to
12+ years on Methamphetamine Charge

ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA — A 29 year old Upper Tract, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on February 8, 2011, in United States District Court in Elkins by Chief Judge John Preston Bailey.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that BRADLEY SCOTT TURNER was sentenced to 151 months imprisonment to be followed by three years supervised release. TURNER entered a plea of guilty on May 4, 2010, to one count of an Indictment charging him with unlawfully possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute on January 11, 2010, in Petersburg, Grant County, West Virginia.

TURNER is in custody.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas O. Mucklow. The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police, with assistance provided by the Potomac Highlands Drug & Violent Crime Task Force.
