Bruceton Mills Resident Sentenced on “Crack” Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 39 year old Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on May 31, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that SANDRA BANKHEAD-DIETZ was sentenced to five months imprisonment to be followed by three years supervised release with the first five months to be served in home detention. BANKHEAD-DIETZ entered a plea of guilty on December 11, 2009, to one count of an Indictment charging her with the distribution of “crack” cocaine on January 30, 2009, in Monongalia County.
BANKHEAD-DIETZ is currently free on bond and will self-report to a designated federal institution.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley. The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
