Two Sentenced for Illegally Re-Entering the United States
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — Two Mexican citizens were sentenced this week in United States District Court in Martinsburg by Chief Judge John Preston Bailey.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:
ISIDRO CANO ARREGUIN, age 40, was sentenced to 10 months imprisonment to be followed by one year supervised release. ARREGUIN entered a plea of guilty on January 20, 2011, to one count of an Indictment charging him with illegally re-entering the United States after having been removed from the United States on three prior occasions. ARREGUIN is in federal custody.
ISIDRO FLORES CASTILLO, age 46, was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment to be followed by three years supervised release. CASTILLO entered a plea of guilty on January 21, 2011, to a one-count Indictment charging him with illegally re-entering the United States after having been removed from the United States on two prior occasions. CASTILLO is in federal custody.
The cases were prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Erin K. Reisenweber. The cases were investigated by the United States Department of Homeland Security – Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
