Petersburg Resident Sentenced to 20 Years
on Methamphetamine Charge

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 32 year old Petersburg, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on May 11, 2011, in United States District Court in Martinsburg by Chief Judge John Preston Bailey.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that SHAWN LYNN ROHRBAUGH was sentenced to 240 months imprisonment to be followed by three years supervised release. ROHRBAUGH entered a plea of guilty on October 1, 2010, to one count of an Indictment charging her with the distribution of methamphetamine in Petersburg. ROHRBAUGH was a significant methamphetamine dealer and was found by the Court to have been involved in the distribution of 11 kilograms of methamphetamine.

The Court also ordered ROHRBAUGH to forfeit the following: 2000 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer Edition; $5,597.00 in United States Currency; .40 caliber pistol magazine and cartridges; 2006 TRX450ER 4-wheeler; 5' x 10' utility trailer; four (4) surveillance cameras; two (2) digital cameras; Acer laptop computer; Hitachi television; two (2) x-box 360s with games and controllers; Playstation 3; radio scanner with accessories; and J. L. Audio amplifier.

ROHRBAUGH is in federal custody.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas O. Mucklow. The case was investigated by the Potomac Highlands Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigations, and Mineral County Sheriff’s Department.
