Pittsburgh Resident Enters Plea and is
Sentenced in Federal Court
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 24-year old Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, resident entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced on October 13, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: ERIC BREWER entered a plea of guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine in Anmoore, West Virginia, on January 4, 2009. BREWER was sentenced to 46 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. BREWER was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending designation to a Federal institution.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the Harrison County Task Force and the United States Marshals Service. The task force consists of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department and the Bridgeport Police Department.
