Federal Inmate Enters Plea and is
Sentenced in Federal Court
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — An FCI Morgantown inmate entered a plea of guilty on October 6, 2011, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: ERIC TRIGG, age 36, entered a plea of guilty attempting to obstruct justice on July 23, 2010, at FCI Morgantown, when the staff, suspecting that TRIGG possessed a cellular telephone, attempted to search TRIGG and TRIGG ran and threw the cellular telephone in an attempt to conceal it. TRIGG was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment to be served consecutively with his current 120-month sentence.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Brandon S. Flower and were investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Investigative Services at FCI Morgantown.
