Mexican National Enters Pleas to Cocaine Charges
MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 28-year old Mexican national, who was residing in Winchester, Virginia, entered pleas of guilty on August 6, 2012, in United States District Court in Martinsburg before Magistrate Judge David J. Joel.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: DOMINGO HERNANDEZ-HERNANDEZ entered pleas of guilty to four counts charging him with the Distribution of Cocaine on July 7, July 14, July 27 and August 24, 2011, and one count charging him with the Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine on September 22, 2011, all in Inwood, West Virginia. HERNANDEZ-HERNANDEZ, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a $1,000,000 fine on each count. HERNANDEZ-HERNANDEZ is also subject to deportation following the completion of any sentence imposed upon him by the Court.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas O. Mucklow and investigated by the Eastern Panhandle Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Martinsburg Police Department, and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration in Hagerstown, Maryland.
