Federal Inmate Enters Plea and is Sentenced
in Federal Court for
Threats Against the President of the United States

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A USP Hazleton inmate entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced on August 3, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Judge Irene M. Keeley.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: JOHN STREETER, age 42, entered a plea of guilty to one count of Threatening to Kill the President of the United States. STREETER was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment to be served consecutively with his current 30-month sentence.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn A. Morgan and investigated by the United States Secret Service and the Special Investigative Services at USP Hazleton.
