Pittsburgh Resident Enters Pleas of Guilty
to Bank Robbery Charges
WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA — A 32-year old Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, resident entered pleas of guilty on December 28, 2011, in United States District Court in Wheeling before Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II announced that: JEREMY T. DUGAN entered pleas of guilty to three counts of bank robbery being on August 31, 2011, at the First Commonwealth Bank in Oakdale, Pennsylvania; on September 2, 2011, at the First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union in Elm Grove, West Virginia; and, on September 26, 2011, at the PNC Bank in Perryville, Maryland. As part of his plea, DUGAN has agreed to the forfeiture of $5,900 stolen from the First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union and $2,496 stolen from the PNC Bank. DUGAN, who is in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000 on each count.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert H. McWilliams, Jr. and was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
