Detroit Resident Sentenced for
Distribution of “Crack”Cocaine
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 26-year old Detroit, Michigan, resident was sentenced on July 3, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that DUJUAN VINCENT THOMAS a/k/a “TONE” was sentenced to 151 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. THOMAS entered a plea of guilty on January 13, 2012, to one count of distribution of “crack” cocaine on September 28, 2011, in Mononongalia County, West Virginia. THOMAS was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending designation to a Federal institution.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley and was investigated by the Mon Valley Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the Morgantown Police Department, the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
