Morgantown Resident Enters Plea to
Heroin Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A 25 year old Morgantown, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on March 26, 2012, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that CHRISTOPHER WYCKOFF entered a plea of guilty to one count of distribution of heroin on March 2, 2011, in Morgantown. As part of his plea, WYCKOFF admitted to being involved in the distribution of between 100 and 400 grams of heroin in the Morgantown area. WYCKOFF, who is free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrew R. Cogar and was investigated by the West Virginia State Police-Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
