Morgantown Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Firearms Violation
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 62 year old Morgantown, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on February 22, 2008, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that GARY GUIDI entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Information charging him with possession of a firearm as a convicted felon on November 13, 2006, in Monongalia County, West Virginia.
GUIDI, who is currently free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum exposure of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives.
