Efrain Arredondo-Duran, 29, of Eldorado, Sinaloa, Mexico, who was arrested in the District of North Dakota, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on August 19, 2011, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute, distribution of 2,010 grams of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute and distribution of 53 grams of cocaine. Arredondo-Duran received 120 months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release, was ordered to pay a $1,600.00 fine and is subject to deportation upon release from prison. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

Craig Crowley, 27, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, who was arrested in Sweetwater County, Wyoming, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on August 18, 2011, for felon in possession of a firearm. Crowley received 37 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
