
Eastern Shoshone Man Sentenced for Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury

U.S. Attorney Christopher A. Crofts announced that on May 25, 2012, Jerel Tillman, an eighteen year old Eastern Shoshone Tribal member was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl to 37 months imprisonment, 3 years of supervised release, and a $500.00 fine for an aggravated assault committed in December 2011, on the Wind River Indian Reservation. This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
