Sentences for June 01 - June 13, 2012

Larry Dean Holden, 59, of Salt Lake City, Utah, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on June 13, 2012, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute 1.5 kilograms but less than 5 kilograms of methamphetamine. Holden was arrested in Salt Lake City. He received 87 months of imprisonment, to be followed by 5 years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and a $400.00 fine. This case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Wyoming Division of criminal Investigation.

Shane Allen Sanders, 28, of Laramie, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Clarence A. Brimmer on 13, 2012, for driving under the influence on BLM Land. Sanders was arrested on Rogers Canyon Road – BLM property. He received 5 months of imprisonment, to be followed by one year of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $25.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of the Interior.

Angel Sanchez-Calderon, 31, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on June 13, 2012, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Sanchez-Calderon was arrested in Jackson, Wyoming. He received time served plus ten days and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Thomas Lee Anderson, 31, of Bozeman, Montana, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on June 12, 2012, for being a felon in possession of firearm. Anderson was arrested in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. He received 30 months of imprisonment, to be followed by 3 years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Dale Fuller, 47, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on June 1, 2012, for possession of child pornography. Fuller was arrested in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He received 48 months of imprisonment, to be followed by 20 years of supervised release and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $300.00. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Edward Malcolm, 64, of Sheridan, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on June 1, 2012, for attempted possession of child pornography. Malcolm was arrested in Sheridan, Wyoming. He received 10 years of supervised release with the first 6 months to be served in home-confinement. This case was investigated by the United States Postal Service.
