Curtis Wayne Jones, 55, of San Francisco, California, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on June 28, 2012 for possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Jones was arrested in Evanston, Wyoming. He received 180 months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $900.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
Maricela Zapien-Rosas, 35, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on June 21, 2012 for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Zapien-Rosas was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. She received time served, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Alvara Guerrero-Remigio, 27, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on June 21, 2012 for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Guerrero-Remigio was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. He received time served, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody.
