Sentences July 21 - August 01, 2012

Andrew Jason Barber, 32, of Casper, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on August 1, 2012, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Barber was arrested in Casper. He received 21 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $500.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

German Sanchez-Perez, 36, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on August 1, 2012, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Sanchez-Perez was arrested in Jackson, Wyoming. He received time served plus ten days, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Abraham Salinas-Saravia, 26, of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on August 1, 2012, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Salinas-Saravia was arrested in Gillette, Wyoming. He received time served plus ten days, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Jackie Lynn Graham, 46, of Green River, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on July 27, 2012, for uttering counterfeit securities. Graham appeared pursuant to summons. She received four months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, with the first four months to be served in home confinement. She was also ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and restitution in the amount of $23,761.50. This case was investigated by the U.S. Secret Service.

Rocky Benson, 33, of Rapid City, South Dakota, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on July 25, 2012, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Benson was arrested in Gillette, Wyoming. He received 34 months of imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release and was ordered to pay a $250.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
