Five one-count informations were filed in U.S. District Court in Houston, Texas, charging R.C. Smith Plumbing Co., Inc. of Conroe, Texas; Robert David Smith of Conroe, Texas, president of R.C. Smith Plumbing; Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. of Newport News, Virginia; Alan Selzer of Houston, Texas, president/general manager of Ferguson's Houston Branch; and Martin M. Kamerbeek, Jr. of Houston, Texas, general manager of the Houston Branch of Moore Supply Company of Conroe, Texas, with fixing prices, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, for the sale of wholesale plumbing supplies in southeast Texas.

Four one-count informations were filed in U.S. District Court in Jackson, Mississippi, charging Dairy Fresh Corporation, headquartered in Greensboro, Alabama; Willie Erwin Burt, president; J.R. Dickinson, general manager of the Hattiesburg, Mississippi plant; and Paschal J. Miles, former general manager of the Columbus, Mississippi plant, with rigging bids, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, on contracts to supply dairy products to certain federal, state and local government institutions in Mississippi, beginning at least as early as 1977 and continuing at least through August 1988.

Two one-count informations were filed in U.S. District Court in Mobile, Alabama, charging Dairy Fresh Corporation, headquartered in Greensboro, Alabama, and its president, Willie Erwin Burt, with rigging bids, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, for the award and performance of contracts to supply milk to county school boards within the Florida panhandle and south Alabama, beginning at least as early as the early 1970's and continuing at least through July 1988.
