The North Texas HIDTA region encompasses Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Henderson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Lubbock, Navarro, Parker, Rockwall, Smith, and Tarrant counties in Texas, and Cleveland, Comanche, Muskogee, Oklahoma, Sequoyah, and Tulsa Counties in Oklahoma.

Dallas, Texas is a major city with a population of 1,000,000 or more.

Arlington, Austin, and Fort Worth, Texas and Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma are major cities with 250,000-999,999 people.

Abilene, Amarillo, Lubbock, Waco, and Wichita Falls, Texas are cities with 100,000-249,999 people.

Other places of interest are Carrolltown and Farmers Branch, Texas and Lawton and Muskogee, Oklahoma.

The interstates within this region are I-10, I-20, I-27, I-30, I-35, I-40, I-44, and I-45.
