The HIDTA counties in the Northern Ohio U.S. Attorney district are Cuyahoga, Lucas, Mahoning, Stark, and Summit.

The HIDTA counties in the Southern Ohio U.S. Attorney district are Fairfield, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Montgomery, and Warren.

The counties in the Northern Ohio Attorney district proposed to be added to the Ohio HIDTA are Lorain and Richland.

Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, and Toledo are major cities with over 250,000 people. Akron and Dayton are major cities with 100,000-249,999 people. Canton, Parma, and Youngstown are major cities with 75,000-99,999 people.

There is an international airport at Cleveland, an international airport at Dayton, and two international airports near Columbus--Columbus International and Rickenbacker International.

Major seaports are located at Toledo and Cleveland.

The interstates within this region are I-64, I-70, I-71, I-74, I-75, I-76, I-77, I-80, I-90, and I-271.
