The map shows the transportation infrastructure of the New Mexico HIDTA region and surrounding area.

Albuquerque, New Mexico; Tucson, Arizona; and El Paso, Texas are major cities with over 250,000 people. Amarillo and Lubbock are major cities with 100,000-249,999 people. Artesia, Carlsbad, Farmington, Hobbs, Las Cruces, Los Lunas, Meadow Lake, Rio Rancho, Roswell, Santa Fe, and Sunland Park are cities with less than 100,000 people.

The International Airport is Albuquerque International.

The Ports of Entry are Antelope Wells, Columbus, and Santa Teresa.

The White Sands Missile Range is a military reservation north of El Paso.

The interstates within this region are I-10, I-25, I-27, and I-40.

The U.S. highways are routes 54, 56, 60, 62, 64, 67, 70, 82, 84, 87, 90, 160, 163, 180, 191, 285, 287, 380, 385, 491, and 550.

Regions of interest are the Four Corners Region (the area where the borders of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah meet), Espanola Valley Region (north of Santa Fe), and the Boot Heel Region (the area where the borders of Arizona, New Mexico, and Mexico meet).
