The New England HIDTA region comprises 13 counties in six states: Essex, Hampden, Middlesex, Plymouth, Suffolk, and Worcester Counties in Massachusetts; Fairfield, Hartford, and New Haven Counties in Connecticut; Cumberland County in Maine; Hillsborough County in New Hampshire; Providence County in Rhode Island; and Chittenden County in Vermont.

Boston, Massachusetts and New York, New York are major cities with populations over 500,000.

Springfield and Worcester, Massachusetts; Newark, New Jersey; Yonkers, New York; and Providence, Rhode Island are major cities with populations between 150,000-499,999.

Bridgeport, Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, and Waterbury, Connecticut; Augusta and Portland, Maine; Fall River, Lawrence, and Lowell, Massachusetts; Concord and Manchester, New Hampshire; and Burlington, Hartford, and Montpelier, Vermont are cities with populations less than 150,000.

Logan International in Boston, Massachusetts; Portland International in Portland, Maine; and Bradley International near Hartford, Connecticut are international airports.

Major seaports are located near New Haven, Connecticut; Boston, Massachusetts; and Portland, Maine.

The interstates shown are I-80, I-81, I-84, I-87, I-88, I-89, I-90, I-91, I-93, and I-95.
