                        SUPERFUND BRIEFING

     WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Three senior enforcement officials will
brief reporters on the Superfund program on Tuesday, December 17,
at 9:30 a.m. in Room 2603 of the Justice Department.  The
background briefing will provide reporters with information on the
Superfund program, how it works, and a look ahead to anticipated
developments in the coming months.
