  ATTORNEY GENERAL JANET RENO TO ADDRESS INTERFAITH BREAKFAST ON
               DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT


     WASHINGTON, D.C. --   Attorney General Janet Reno will address
the "Interfaith Breakfast: A Call to End Violence Against Women,"
on Friday, October 11, 1996.   The breakfast will include various
religious leaders who will join the Attorney General in urging
religious organizations across the U.S. to set up programs to
educate their congregations and communities about domestic violence
and sexual assault.
