 ATTORNEY GENERAL JANET RENO TO ANNOUNCE FY98 DOJ BUDGET REQUEST


     WASHINGTON, D.C. --  Attorney General Janet Reno will host a
briefing on the Justice Department's FY 98 budget request
tomorrow, February 6, 1997.   The request will highlight
resources for combatting youth violence, curbing drug trafficking
and abuse, fighting terrorism and international crime and
protecting our borders.
