     WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Lois Schiffer, Assistant Attorney General in
charge of the Justice Department's Environment and Natural Resources
Division, will testify before the Senate Environment and Public Works
Committee on Tuesday, June 10, at 9:30 a.m. in room 406 of the Dirksen
Senate Office Building.  Ms. Schiffer will testify about the
relationship between federal and state environmental law enforcement.
