   DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING OF TRUTH IN
                     SENTENCING COMMISSION

     Washington, D.C. -- On Tuesday the District of Columbia
Truth in Sentencing Commission, chaired by Deputy Attorney
General Eric H. Holder, Jr.,  will hold a public meeting.  The
agenda will include a discussion of D.C. sentencing changes, a
proposed open meeting rule, and the scheduling of public
hearings.
