INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION POLICY ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO HOLD
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Department of Justice's International Competition Policy Advisory Committee will hold three days of hearings with officials from ten foreign competition authorities and representatives from the legal, investment banking, economic and academic communities to address issues of international enforcement cooperation, multijurisdictional merger review, and interface of trade and competition policy.

The Advisory Committee was established in November 1997 by Attorney General Janet Reno and Joel I. Klein, Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division, to provide advice relating to international competition policy.
