ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

WASINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General Janet Reno will speak to the Interagency Working Group on Alternative Dispute Resolution meeting on Monday. She will be joined by Raymond C. Fisher, Associate Attorney General; Mary S. Elcano, General Counsel of the U.S. Postal Service; G. Edward DeSeve, Deputy Director for Management, Office of Management & Budget; and Peter R. Steenland, Jr., Senior Counsel, Office of Dispute Resolution, Department of Justice, as well as representatives from approximately 50 other federal agencies.

The goal of the working group will be to develop ways to resolve matters within agencies before they turn into litigation.
