Attorney General Reno To Visit Littleton, Colorado

WASHINGTON­Attorney General Janet Reno today will visit Littleton, Colorado. She will attend a community meeting at the Light of the World Catholic Church in Littleton and hold private meetings with law enforcement officials, victims service providers, school administrators and members of the Littleton community. Events at the Light of the World Catholic Church will be closed to the media.

Ms. Reno will then hold a private meeting with some of First Responders -- police officers, including SWAT team and bomb squad members, victims advocates and emergency medical personnel -- who participated in the immediate response to the crisis. Following the meeting, Ms. Reno will hold a brief media availability to answer questions from the press about her visit and the resources which the federal government is providing in the wake of the Columbine High School tragedy.
