ATTORNEY GENERAL TO PARTICIPATE IN SYMPOSIUM
ON PUBLIC SAFETY COALITIONS IN OAKLAND
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General Janet Reno will participate in a public safety symposium in Oakland on Friday, December 3, 1999, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This meeting is one of several regional meetings on corporate-community coalitions for public safety. The Attorney General, who will deliver the keynote address at 12:40 p.m., will discuss public safety coalitions between business, law enforcement, and community organizations. A roundtable discussion will follow.
Joining the Attorney General at this event will be Robert S. Mueller, United States Attorney for the Northern District of California; and Jerry Brown, Mayor of Oakland.
