JUSTICE DEPARTMENT, EPA TO MAKE CLEANUP ANNOUCEMENT
AT VIRGINIA'S LARGEST SUPERFUND SITE

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Joel Gross, chief of the Environmental Enforcement Section at the Justice Department, will make an announcement Friday at the Avtex Fibers Superfund Site in Front Royal, Va., regarding the cleanup of the 440-acre property. Joining Gross at the Avtex plant - Virginia's largest privately-owned Superfund site - will be representatives from EPA's Region III office in Philadelphia.
