ATTORNEY GENERAL JANET RENO TO ANNOUNCE LARGEST
GOVERNMENT FRAUD SETTLEMENT IN HISTORY
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General Janet Reno and David Ogden, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division, will hold a press conference to announce a major settlement with a health care company at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2000.
The Attorney General will be joined by June Gibbs Brown, Inspector General for Health and Human Services; Ruben Garcia, Jr., Assistant Director, Criminal Investigative Division, FBI; Patrick McFarland, Inspector General for the Office of Personnel Management; Donald Mancuso, Acting Inspector General for the Defense Department; and Barbara Zelner, Counsel to the National Association of Medical Control Fraud Unit.
