Attorney General Janet Reno issued the following statement. "We are pleased that the 11 th Circuit Court of Appeals has acted unanimously in denying the motion for rehearing in the case of Elian Gonzalez. Now that the Court has conclusively upheld our decision, I am hopeful that this father and son will soon be able to move on with their lives together." ### 00-360
