RESPONSE TO TODAY'S DECISION IN THE A-12 CASE
Judge Robert H. Hodges, Jr. of the Court of Federal Claims today ruled that the government properly terminated the contract with General Dynamics and Boeing for the A-12 stealth fighter aircraft and that, therefore, the contractors were not entitled to the $2.6 billion plus interest that they sought as damages.
Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Justice Department's Civil Division, Stuart Schiffer said, "the United States is very pleased with today's court decision."
