             JUSTICE DEPARTMENT TO RELEASE BNL REPORT





     WASHINGTON. D.C.--The Department of Justice will release its
final report to Attorney General Reno on the Banca Nazionale del
Lavoro (BNL) investigation conducted by the BNL Task Force at 3
p.m. today at the DOJ Press Office, Room 1228.

     Because of the length of the report, 119 pages, and its
addendum, 18 pages, it will not be available by FAX.  Contact:
