           DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL GORELICK TO CONDUCT
           JUSTICE DEPARTMENT WEEKLY MEDIA AVAILABILITY


     WASHINGTON, DC -- Because the Attorney General will be
attending the funeral of a law enforcement officer, Deputy
Attorney General Jamie Gorelick will conduct the weekly media
availability on Thursday, June 1, in her conference room, Room
4111, Main Justice at 9:30 a.m.

     The availability is open to federally credentialed reporters
only.  T.V. coverage will consist of a pool arrangement.
