                NOTICE ON AG'S WEEKLY AVAILABILITY


     Attorney General Janet Reno's weekly availability on
Thursday, March 8, will begin with an announcement of a new
development in the war on drug traffickers as well as a
significant step the Department is taking in connection with
improving the administration of civil justice.

     As usual, the availability will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the
Attorney General's conference room on the 5th floor.  It is open
to all federally credentialed reporters and will be pool camera. 
There will be a visual aid in connection with one of the news
items that may interest still photographers.  Due to limited
space, still photographers wishing to cover should contact
Caroline Adelman at 616-2771 in advance.
