  ATTORNEY GENERAL TO SPEAK TO USIA WOMEN'S ACTION ORGANIZATION
                    AND THE U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY

     WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Attorney General Janet Reno will deliver
the keynote address at a ceremony celebrating the twenty-fifth
anniversary of USIA Women's Action Organization.  She will speak
about issues facing women in the Foreign Service and across
America.

     The Attorney General will also address the Naval Academy
Brigade of Midshipmen as part of the Forrestal Lecture Series. 
In her speech she will examine the social isolation produced by
violent crime and the need for communities to band together to
combat violence.
