   ATTORNEY GENERAL TO HOLD WEEKLY NEWS MEDIA AVAILABILITY AND
      ATTEND EVENT COMMEMORATING THE SIXTH MONTH ANNIVERSARY
                   OF THE OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBING


     WASHINGTON, DC -- Attorney General Janet Reno will conduct
her weekly news media availability on Thursday, October 19 at
9:30 a.m. in room 5111, Main Justice Building.

     Attorney General Reno will also join B'nai B'rith and
Senator Don Nickles at a commemoration of the six month
anniversary of the Oklahoma City Bombing.  Reno will deliver
brief remarks.

     WHO:      Attorney General Reno; Tom Baer, President of
     B'nai               B'rith; and Senator Don Nickles 

     WHEN:          Thursday, October 19 at 11:30 pm - 1:00 pm

     (NOTE:  The availability is open to federally credentialed
