1	Office of Justice Programs (OJP) 15_0402: 1) OJP sent an email to all the ARRA award recipients reminding them to register on federalreporting.gov and of their reporting requirements. 2) OJP staff participated in the 9/25 two hour RATB/OMB conference call on recipient reporting and outreach. 3) OJP’s HVC worked closely with his assigned states and entered their questions in the tracker tool. 4) Since its launch in February 2009, OJP’s Recovery Act webpage has been viewed 219,709 times by visitors to the webpage. 5) Awards:     * JAG Local Formula – 3 awards.     * OVC National Field Generated Training and TA, Demonstration project - 1 award.     * Assistance to Rural Law Enforcement – 22 awards.     * Byrne Competitive – 10 awards.     * Law Enforcement Technology Research and Development - 3 awards.     * Research and Evaluation of Recovery Act State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance – 1 award.     * Local Mentoring – 1 award.     * Tribal Construction – 21 awards. 3	Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) 15_0412: 1) COPS has received approximately 65% of signed award documents from CHRP grantees. 2) COPS staff sent a blast e-mail to CHRP grantees reminding them of Section 1512 reporting requirements and provided them with individualized instructions on completing the Recovery Act report through FederalReporting.gov. 3) On Wednesday, September 23rd, COPS Staff traveled to Yuma, California to meet with the SW Borders Sheriff Coalition to discuss funding decisions make under CHRP. 4) On Wednesday, September 23rd, COPS Acting Director Buchanan met with the City of Inglewood, California to discuss their CHRP award and the COPS Office retention policy. 5) On Thursday, September 24, COPS Acting Director Buchanan met with the Sacramento County Sheriffs Department to discuss the CHRP Program. 6) On Friday, September 25th, COPS staff met with the National Sheriff’s Association to discuss CHRP methodology and awarding decisions	Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) 15_0412: 1) COPS met the Virginia Community Policing Institute (VCPI) staff to continue development of the interactive, online grant management training for CHRP grantees.  The training is scheduled to begin in October 2009. 2) COPS staff will travel next week to Denver for the Annual Meeting of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. 3) COPS will also attend the U.S. Conference of Mayors Leadership Meeting in Seattle on October 1 and 2.
