INDICTED FOR FILING FALSE PERSON INCOME
TAX RETURNS

Attorney for the Southern District of
Texas, announced today that Mohammad H. Yadzanfard, was
indicted by a federal grand jury for filing false personal income
tax returns for the years 1994 and 1995. The Indictment alleges
Yazdanfard failed to report income received in 1994 and 1995
totaling approximately $556,000.
If convicted, Yazdanfard faces a possible sentence of three years
imprisonment, one year supervised release, and a fine of $250,000.
This case was investigated by Special Agents of the Internal
Revenue Service and is being prosecuted by the United States
Attorney's Office.
