FAILURE TO SUPPLY INFORMATION REQUIRED BY IRS SUMMONS

(HOUSTON) Gregory A. Serres, U. S. Attorney for the Southern District of Texas and the Criminal Investigation Division of the Internal Revenue Service announced today that Clement Chijioke Anozie was charged in a one count criminal information with willful failure to supply information. Mr. Anozie was required to provide certain information pertaining to his professional corporation in response to an Internal Revenue Service summons issued to him, but he failed to provide the required information.

If convicted of the offense, Mr. Anozie faces a maximum of one year in prison. The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until convicted through due process of law.
