June 17, 2004 - United States Attorney Patrick L.Meehan today announced the filing of an information* against Clarke Bowers with one count of health care fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1347 in relation to a fraudulent billing scheme that defrauded insurance carriers of approximately $150,000, and with one count of false income tax returns, in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7206(1).
