August 8, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an Indictment* against Everton Blair, an alien and subject of Jamaica, who was deported from the United States in 1990 and 1993, for illegally reentering the United States.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, three years supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Anita Eve.
