August 8, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an Indictment* against Stephan Augustus Rowl, an alien and subject of Jamaica, who was deported from the United States in 1992, for illegally reentering the United States.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, three years supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Anita Eve.
