February 15, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an indictment* charging VICTOR BERRIOS, with being a felon in possession of two loaded firearms on or about September 13, 2006, in Philadelphia, in violation of 18 U.S.C. Sections 922(g)(1) and 924(e). The indictment charges that the defendant possessed, on or about September 13, 2006, after having been convicted of a felony, two loaded firearms: 1) a .38 caliber revolver with wood grips, Amadeo Rossi model M68, loaded with six rounds of ammunition; and 2) a .40 caliber Glock semi-automatic pistol, black in color, loaded with nine rounds of ammunition.

Upon conviction, Victor Berrios faces the following maximum sentence: life imprisonment; a 15-year mandatory minimum term of imprisonment, five years supervised release; a $250,000 fine; and a $100 special assessment.
