
February 9, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the unsealing of a one-count indictment* against Michael Turner, charging him with possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of cocaine base (“crack”).
The indictment specifically charges that, on or about May 5, 2006, Michael Turner possessed with the intent to distribute 51.18 grams of crack cocaine.
If convicted, the defendant faces the following: A mandatory minimum 20 year prison term, a possible maximum sentence of life imprisonment, an $8 million dollar fine, and a minimum of 10 years supervised release up to lifetime supervised release.
