January 25, 2007 - PHILADELPHIA – United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced that a grand jury has returned an 8-count Indictment* charging Thomas Jordan, a/k/a “Tommy,” with six counts of distribution of cocaine and cocaine base (“crack”), one count of possession of 50 grams or more of cocaine base (“crack”), and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, arising from evidence obtained during a series of purchases of cocaine and cocaine base between September 7, 2006 and November 20, 2006.
Jordan faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, a 10 year mandatory minimum term of imprisonment, and an $18,250,000 fine. This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Philadelphia Police Department.
