June 15, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an indictment* against SHARON BOYLE charging her with two counts of bank robbery. The indictment alleges that Boyle robbed the PNC Bank at 2200 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, on April 17, 2007, and the Commerce Bank at 2520 Grant Avenue, Philadelphia, on April 20, 2007.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 40 years i mprisonment, 3 years supervised release, a fine of $500,000, and a $200 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Frank R. Costello, Jr.
